The husband's back (and there's gonna be tro-uble, hey-na, hey-na) and I survived work today.

I'm feeling a little more human, and extremely grateful to no longer be dizzy.

I wrote a little drabble yesterday while contemplating life and illness horizontally. Folks liked it. It made me feel good.

Whatever I thought that I had, illness wise, I was wrong: I am sick in a way that baffles me. My cold has abated to a lung-rattling cough, but now I'm constantly dizzy and nauseous. 'Kay, so Grandma came through the surgery alright yesterday. She was awake and alert shortly afterward and the doctors said that the operation was textbook. Now we just have to wait and see: the artery balloon is inflated and more blood is circulating to her legs, so hopefully that, along with the meds, will clear up the gangrene.
