So, I finally saw the 2-hour series finale of Criminal Minds. I wasn't sure I'd watch anything from season 15, to be honest, but I guess my love for these characters and my need to complete things won over my better judgment. The real reason I watched the 15th season is because I'm a completest and I'd already watched the rest so... yeah.

I like your version of the ending far better than the one they gave us but I must admit I'm glad they didn't go for a "rocks fall everybody dies" ending that they looked like they might be setting up.

I was only really happy with Garcia's ending and it was great that she ended up with the hot guy, particularly the one she'd been counting coup on ever since he first showed up. :D

I find myself in the same fandom place since Person of Interest ended. Fro me at least I think it's less the 'place' I'm in now and more than I haven't fallen like a ton of bricks for anything since Person of Interest. Like you said, the interest you put into it.

"Rock falls everyone dies" <- LOL! Yes, thank goodness they didn't go that route. (though I was worried they'd kill off Reid, tbh, because a friend mentioned it would be the ultimate fuck you to the fanbase for the end and then I couldn't stop thinking about it)

As I said, I was only happy with Garcia's exit too. And maybe she got the hot guy because the actress co-wrote the final script? I mean, that's a good way to get the characterization you want for yourself ;)

I fully expect it to be a long mourning period over the loss of fan stuff. I was complaining to the husband the other day that I always seem to fall for shows that get cancelled. CM was the exception to the rule. He said I just have to keep trying until something sticks. He's such a fantastic enabler...
