Canadian artist, Alex Colville, died yesterday in Nova Scotia. Amongst Moebius, comic book art, Edward Hopper, and various Art Nouveau artists, Alex Colville was an early (creepy) influence on my preferred aesthetic.

Adam Yauch, one third of The Beastie Boys, died after a long battle with cancer. This makes me very, very sad - he was far too young and had tons more fabulousity left to make with his boyz...
