Hahaha! Sometimes I still get confused which identity I am! :-D I do like having firesign10 as my writing persona though. Its the fireheart13 that throws me now and then.

I think what the numbers did for me a little was show me I really have a little more readership than I thought. I'm a small fish in the ocean, but it was nice to see people ARE enjoying my stories. A little confidence booster.

Don't get me wrong - I love having the metrics available. And, yes, it is a self-confidence booster to see the hit and kudos on things especially if people don't comment (and many don't).

But the numbers sometimes confuse me. Like, "Wait...what? People liked THAT?! REALLY?!?" o_O
