that's exactly the kind of thing i've been looking for. i just want to really learn one or two movements per day so i don't get all confused with the routines most videos have (go into cow pose... um, what's cow pose and how can i see how to do it with my face turned toward the floor?)

It's a great book, and I would definitely recommend it to others. It's designed to allow anyone at any level to work their way through it and improve at their own pace. :)
