Current Total Word Count: 5,547 (Though many of these are notes and stilted attempts.)
Goal: To get to the end.

Random Sentence: My son has a habit of watching skies, gaging the color of blue, measuring the weight of clouds, watching for storms that may or may not come. I always liked watching him

Rewrites can be a pain - my current WIP is a total rewrite of an idea I worked on a couple of years ago. But like you say, what you've written before will help with what you write today :)

Yeah, I can't tell you how many stories have died out in a rewrite. Oh, well. We keep on keepin' on, and do what we can. :)
