I am in my fourth year subbing for the same high school district, and it's starting to get really interesting. I'm teaching Seniors this year that I remember as Freshmen. I don't know them the way their teachers have known them, but I have had the opportunity through substitute teaching to watch them grow up. It's very strange

I know what you mean.

When I was in high school, I worked the lunch rush at Trace Elementry for extra credit one semester. I had a small crew of elementry students.

Ten years later, I was at DeAnza, ran into one of them, now all grown up.

It was neat, kinda weird, and made me feel old.

It's cool, huh. And yeah, I hear you on the old thing. But they've been doing that to me for a while now. I'm actually making references to some of my favorite movies that are dated. How odd is that.
