It's sad to hear that you no longer feel like this is home. I'm sure that most of us feel that this should be home for you, and won't really see anywhere else as your home (no matter where you move to or what you do to set up a life (: ).

I think that it's interesting that you see everyone else as taking steps for cementing their lives, but don't aknowledge what you have done. You've achieved a masters degree in the field with which you wish to work. You've gotten into a relationship in which you are planning for the long term (a couple of years ahead is kind of long term), and you've started to travel the world (something most people spend their lives planning on doing but never actually doing). Watching you drive forward has been part of my inspiration for the little bit that I have been doing to try and further my own life. I have always (and probably will always) seen you as a source of inspiration.

Thank you Rob. That means a lot to me. Some part of me will always see the Pacific NW as home, but another part of me feels divorced from it now.

Home or not, I miss all of you often and wish that I could see everyone more.
