Oh dear...same issues. Lots of good friends far away, lots of good friends here who are much older than me and have the mortgage and 2.5 kids, not so many new friends...which translates as no romantic possibilities, for me. BaH!
I'm glad to have been one of the people that dragged you into a network in High school, though. :)
=P You have come upon the long standing dilemma of every person out of an educational institution. I don't actually have any friends that I hang out with in Portland, and most of my friends are online and in different cities, countries, even continents. ^^ It's the way things are these days.
I know what you mean about finding it hard to make new friends. I feel as though I am just starting to hear in Manchester and I have been here over a year and a half now. Some of it helped that I am living in a shared house, but I also find it hard to make new friends.
I don't think it is going to work to meet up some time before Christmas, as time is just flying by to fast. But we will have to try and arrange a time for me to come down to London, and go a see a show, and hang out for the weekend.
That sounds great (sorry I've been so long replying btw...). I'll be back around the 6th of Jan. If you want to plan something for a weekend sometime in Jan or Feb, that'd be awesome. ( :

I'm quite happy with interesting books or nifty art supplies if you really want to know. You two really don't need to get me anything though...
