Surprise, I got the job!
Why'd I say surprise? Because it's a joke - I pretty much knew I'd get the job, but I didn't want to sound haughty, and it'd be esp. bad if I ended up not getting the job.
I only have 8 days of work, and the first 3 are only minimum wage ($7.25, I think) since it's training. The other 5 are $9.50, though. Even better, one ( Read more... )

Oh, they're nice to me too! It's because it's a government agency. As for the minimum wage, Oregon has the highest (or very close to it) minimum wage in the US.
Heehee, I've been working at the zoo since 2003, so I have more experience than Aiba if we count in years. -proud- But he has more actual experience...I wish I could pet (our) tigers!
