Glad about the new part! It's so natural to follow Brian's development and progress. It made me laugh when he had this big realization about what the non-fuss about dating is, at least when it comes to going on dates with Justin. But I love generally to watch this after cancer Brian who has changed quite a bit in some essential ways. He isn't captured in his own cage so much anymore, he still thinks he feels the walls, but then, after a bit thinking, he notices that it's only his own imagination of them being there, and that you show us very believable and very enjoyable.

Thanks so much, dear! I'm glad you liked this chapter, it's actually the longest one yet (and I suspect the most eventful too).

I love when readers completely understand what I'm trying to convey, it's actually quite flattering really!

Yes, this is probably the most eventful chapter yet... and there's a bit of fast-forwarding which I hope you didn't mind! haha I imagine Brian's philosophy on dates would change a little once he went on one with the love of his life ;)

I knew Brian would have to have a little bit of a wobbly I mean he was going very fond of Justin and he can't give everything away can he? But Brian was there for Justin when he needed him and he told Justin something very important. Nice update.

yes, he wouldn't be Brian without a least a little bit of a freak out, he's a private person (at least, emotionally) so he's bound to freak out when there's someone else breaking down the walls...

I like a Justin who doesn't take (much) shit from Brian and isn't afraid of walking out. Glad Brian sucked it up and called him when he heard about Cody. And VERY glad Cody is dead. Great chapter, as always!

it totally irks me when Justin is portrayed as too feeble or dependant...he's a fighter goddamnit!! And Brian, no matter his reputation as an "asshole" is always there for the people who need him in the end of the day. It's a simple case of Justin needing him, and Brian was there for him :))

Love the banner. Everyone knowing about Justin doesn't help the situation then the check up. Glad we are rid of Cody. It could have been Justin hurt. I am glad Brian told Justin too.

aw, thank you! I'm actually quite happy with the end result for the banner :)

Brian's having enough trouble dealing with this new found non-relationship, so it hardly helps that his friends would rub it in his face... and yes, we're finally rid of Cody! In a way, the whole fic was leading up to Brian telling Justin about his cancer, it was hard but I'm glad I past that milestone in the fic so I can move on to other things...
