The flitting (like a fantail) summer begins

Today is the start of my 'summer of lots of visitors'. I suppose it's possible to say that it began with Rebekka visiting Scotland but that didn't really have me as host, so as far as I'm concerned it starts here.

For most of the rest of the summer I will be enjoying the company of lots of other people as they come to, or pass through Somerset. It

When is it my turn to visit? :p Last time I went to England was in 2001 for a month, with my family, and I did not have a very good time because I was 14 at the time and did not want to go to museums and art galleries! I have a greater appreciation for those things now, but the places I've seen you take your guests seem much more interesting anyway! :)

You are welcome anytime, anytime at all. It's an open invitation and I expect you to take it up at some point. It would be a real honour, and a privilege to welcome you here and to show you around, spend time with you and let you see the world I grew up in. In fact, I insist! If today is anything to go by, and you will see when I get round to posting photos, there could well be ponies too. What else do I need to do to get you over here? Just come, okay? :)))

Well I've always wanted to go to Ireland, so when I manage that trip, I plan to start in England, since I have so many relatives there (and a few friends now!)... spend some time there and then head over to the Emerald Isle!
