So... I told my diet to go fuck itself today. That isn't to say that I sat down and ate a bucket of ice cream or something, but I did eat normally. I decided that all the hype was for nothing. I lost 4 pounds... I am sure by not eating a lot of white bread and sugar that would begin to happen anyway. Whatever. So I am a big fat failure, yay me

You can even buy "cleanse kits" from the health food store.
I personally think they're ridiculous. Humans have a liver, and a set of kidneys (well, most do anyway), which do the trick just fine for me.
Also, I was under the impression that beans were not complete protein as only 'animal' proteins are truly "complete". Can you please direct me to some reading?? I have always been EXTREMELY anti-vegan because of the lack of complete proteins which help build and repair tissue, so I would be interested in reading more.

The Vancouver Library system has the book if you want to request it. I recommend the mushroom/beans stirfry (of deliciousness) and the yogurt jello thing... *sigh* Sorry, I don't remember their real names. :-(
