I just added another real life friend to my list. Whenever I add someone, it feels like an opportunity to deepen a relationship, and I am glad.

We have cooked 3 meals with the beef we ordered and been pleased so far. We ordered the higher fat, 25% meat, because it was on sale, so I do have to drain a little off to keep things from getting swimmy. 2 lady friends came over for an afternoon of, well, friendship. What could be better? It felt like a nice reward for all my work. The only thing better is when 3 ladies come over. More is better, in this case.

Spent 6 hours in the kitchen today NOT COOKING!!!!! I love to cook, and now I will ove it even more due to totally re-arranging the cupboards. The only items that did not move were the plates and cups. Every last tea bag, raisin and sippy cup lid got moved into newer better spots.
