2008 is almost over. It pretty well sucked. But then I knew that entering it a year ago. My New Year's Eve was horrid and that night is always an indicator on how the rest of the year will flow. Sadly this NYE doesn't look that eventful. As of now all I'm doing is sitting around waiting for Laura to get off work at 11 and then probably watch

Yeah, the odds of me going to a McDonald's are pretty low, of going to that one even lower, and so on. That's an amazingly boring story in itself, by the bye.

Anyway. We really need a Midwest mini-#WiiGii!Con, what with all the Madisonians and so on. (Madisonites? Madisoni?) Or, at the very least, some coordination for Wizard World Chicago.

(Oh, and I'm contractually obligated to mention that my employer, the airport, has regular service to Orlando [actually Sanford] through Allegiant Airlines. Free parking, low fares, yadda yadda yadda. Though the airline won't let you book post-May right now. Just, you know, FYI.)

Because a majority of us drumline folk are going to the Winter Classic New Years Day, and since the call time for that is 7am in Dekalb, we're all going to be hanging out for NYE. You guys would be more than welcome to come.
