Well, I don't know that anybody quite can, although I'd be impressed if somebody did. It's a tricky thing to manage, trying to be dazzling and innovative without being tacky. And then make it something about English Identity.
I suggest incorporating Scottish heavy athletics. You can't go wrong with half-naked, kilt-wearing, muscled men exerting themselves all over the place. You could even make sure they were blonds.
Oh, I may need the cuddle and the cranky fist-pounding. It's a good thing Colin's so obliging! Speaking of which, I'm going to see Mama Mia tomorrow, so I'll have to report back.
~hugs you~ Thanks for the vote of confidence, and really, thank you for being such an incredible contributor to the comm! As I was compiling the list today, I was in awe of your totals. You wrote 16 stories for Portus Envy alone! Without that kind of participation, the comm would be nothing.
It is awful. I've had insomnia off and on for as long as I can remember, but it's been more intrusive than usual lately. I just can't stop thinking long enough to fall asleep.
There is no tired worse than brain tired. I hate it when I'm so tired that the committee in my head doesn't have a quorum, but none of them will leave.
LOL! That's a fabulous metaphor for it. That's exactly how it feels right now. The debate is circular, they aren't getting anywhere, somebody should move to adjourn--and yet they all keep going. :-P

Isn't it awful when your head just won't turn off?

But you did a wonderful job with the comm!
I hope you'll get a good night of sleep and feel better *sends a sweet breeze and a glass of Bordeaux*

I know you're exhausted, too. ~hugs~ I seem to recall you saying that this time of year brings very brisk business.
I'm delighted you've enjoyed the comm. As for the good night of sleep, I'm crossing my fingers. I could use it tonight.
