I had a wonderful 4th of July, and hope the rest of you did as well. I had some family and friends over, including the Godkids, and we laughed, listened to music, soaked up the sun, played croquet and lit some sparklers. A quiet day with reading and air conditioning sounds very good to me! I like having my family and friends around me, but I must admit that also cherish those lovely quiet times after they've all gone home, too. :D

I found a few nice things, but on the whole, I was a bit disappointed. There's so much sleeveless or cap-sleeved stuff! That's great for people who like it, but I'm not one of them. I found a pretty linen tunic, though, and one great Indian-style duster jacket that I'll be able to wear with a variety of things.
I did also find some nice cropped trousers--or, as I like to call them, 'trousers that I don't have to hem.' ;-)
Good luck with tomorrow! You're going to be a star. :D Hope the weather's less disgusting!
