At long last, here's the third chapter of "Wanderlust," the Snape-centric PSoH/HP crossover I've been writing with lithiumdelusion. Enjoy!

Already commented on lithiumdelusion's journal, but I wanted to compliment both of you, so I'll repeat my comments here:

I missed the prologue and first two chapters but now I'm caught up, and I'm so intrigued by this story! Hooray for Jill--I've always felt she had good instincts! (She liked D all along, after all.) And Snape is so wonderfully Snape, even in the Muggle world: "Unsurprisingly, Severus had yet to win the monthly Customer Service award."

That line just made me giggle! Looking forward to the next chapter!

And btw, I think this would make a great rec for both the Snapedom and ds_petshop communities.

Thank you! I'm thrilled you're enjoying this. I agree with you about Jill: she has very good instincts, both as a cop and about people. I don't see her featured all that much in a lot of the PSoH fic (in all fairness, D and Leon are the main draw), but I wanted to see her get an opportunity to shine.

I can't tell you how tickled I am that you like that line. I'm even happier that you think he's still Snape, even in the middle of a pharmacy in L.A.! I wanted to keep him IC.

I was happy to see a new chapter up. I know nothing of PSoH, but this is an entertaining and engaging story - and well written, of course.

(I am now a bit worried - will Jill succeed in catching up to Severus before he flees yet again? Though I can certainly understand why the poor guy's paranoid!)

Thank you! I'm so happy you're enjoying this, and I'm doubly thrilled because you're unfamiliar with PSoH and yet still interested in the story. I was hoping that it would be accessible to people, whether or not they had familiarity with PSoH.

The new installment should be coming more quickly than this one did, thank goodness. As to whether Jill will succeed... well, I don't think it's giving away too much to say that she and Severus will eventually have a confrontation. And yes, his paranoia isn't illogical, especially since he believes that he's still considered to be a criminal.

Heheheh, I like the idea of Snape as a common pharmacist! Must be one heck of a blow to his ego. The line about American pop music made me giggle. It seems that at the local Rite-Aid, they're always playing the most atrociously bad music.
I'm looking forward to the next chapter!

Thanks! I'm glad you like pharmacist!Snape. It is a blow to his ego; he thinks that Muggle pharmacy work is ridiculously easy in comparison to Potion-making, I'm sure. Plus, now he has to deal with customers, and that can only be bad.

My local Walgreens also has the worst possible taste in music, so I think it's a common failing of pharmacies. ;-)
