At long last, here's the third chapter of "Wanderlust," the Snape-centric PSoH/HP crossover I've been writing with lithiumdelusion. Enjoy!

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you're enjoying this, even though you were reluctant to tangle with another fandom. We were hoping the PSoH portions would stand on their own without people having to be familiar with PSoH canon.

Jill will be more than happy to hug him for you. I wouldn't advise you to try within her range of vision though, because she's a damned good shot and rather territorial! *grins*

The scene at the drugstore is so vivid - I was shivering under the triple influence of the air conditioning, the music and Mrs. Swanson. I'm so happy we have no music here in pharmacies, though we have air conditioning and I always catch a cold when going to buy aspirin, which is convenient, I suppose. Severus is admirably patient - I would have strangled the old cow. But if he feels the search spell and runs, how on earth is Jill going to catch up with him?

I'm intrigued by Jill, and glad to learn that she is a good shot and generally a kick-ass girl. I can't wait to see how she gets along with Snape!

That scene is more or less all Blue's doing. I was wowed by it too. (And in definite agreement over your wanting to strangle a certain someone)

Thank you! I'm so pleased to hear that you liked the drugstore scene. I was having a hard time with this chapter until I suddenly had a vision of Snape in his uniform; everything fell into place after that. I haven't been in a French pharmacy in a few years, but I do remember them as being more pleasant than the average American chain drugstore, which is sort of like a mash-up of a pharmacy, a tabac and a Monoprix.

Well.. just remember that he can't just up and run immediately, because he needs to retrieve some things and he doesn't have his wand to make it easier. ;-)

I'm very glad that you approve of Jill! She is feisty--definitely not the sort to wait around for a hero when she can save the day herself--but she also has a gift for looking beyond appearances. I think that she and Snape will raise some sparks!
