Hehe, how I wish I could follow in this resolution... *downloads the JKR documentary that I missed on TV last night* I moan about her doing so many interviews, but I can't resist finding out what she says!
Heh, I know it's a challenge. At the same time, I firmly subscribe to the idea that authors have to put what they want to say in the text. When she goes around saying things that just aren't supported by what she's written, then I have to shrug and decide to give it as much weight as I would any other fannish speculation. It seems to me that there's a huge gulf between the story that exists in her head and the one that she actually put on the page, and she seems genuinely unaware of this. But then, that's what comes of going without editors and never re-reading your own work.
But as fans, we're always going to have that pull to know what she's going to say, aren't we? ;-)

So, how did the party go? I know at the party my friends and I went to, I drank too much and had a little too much fun. Then Kita and I called one of our dear friends and sang Happy Birthday to him! (He was born on Jan 1st)
I'm NOT pushing you for Wanderlust, you know. I just Like to tease. I still have a thank you present to finish for ladyofthethread for the Christmas gift of a paid account and prize fics to finish for the winners of the autumn challenge over at kuroxfai... and that's not counting Dark Lady or the half of Anamaria's backstory that I just discovered got eaten by my computer. I have to rewrite the whole bloody thing! *rants some more*

Oh, lucky you! 100 icon slots to fill... ~drools~ I do have 100 slots on my Insane Journal, but the layout is so ugly over there. I hate to admit it, but LJ is prettier.
The party was great, actually. I drank enough to be happy and relaxed, but not so much that I looked foolish, the food was abundant, the company was good. We watched silly movies and laughed a lot. It was very enjoyable. :-)
