Happy New Year, everybody! This has been my first year as an active participant in the fandom, and thanks to all of you and the support and encouragement you give, it's been a great one. Thanks for offering such a warm welcome, and I wish the best to all of you in the new year.
For a person who'd never actually written a piece of fiction before mid-August of this year, I think I accomplished a decent amount! By the numbers:
*13 stories and ficlets written (200 words and over)
*53 drabbles written (!)
*29, 700 words written.
*4 Fests entered (2 formal, 2 informal)
*More half-written stories to come than I care to admit. Let me put it this way: I probably won't be slowing down much in 2008. ;-)
Resolutions for 2008:
*Write more stories.
*Finish editing gigantic PSoH WiP and start posting it.
*Finish sequels to "Take Two" and "The Bargain."
*Finish "Wanderlust."
*Write more stories.
*Continue undaunted on my mission to pair Snape with every character that I do not find unsuitable or repulsive.
*Try to downgrade antipathy for Albus Dumbledore from the fiery hatred of a thousand burning suns to mere contempt.
*Stop listening to JKR.
*Write more stories.
I like to stick with resolutions that I can actually keep. ;-)
