I am very happy, and I feel very grateful to be happy, especially now. One of the things Mom and I discussed yesterday is the fact that it is nearly a year since I started Project Peacock, or at least it will be in six days. And I don't regret a moment of it, nor do I ever feel that I should be doing something different. It's been strangely freeing to have accepted that I'm responsible for my own happiness, and to have made it a priority in my life, so that I can help others to be happy, too. Which is, when it comes down to it, what I really want to do.

And, my dear Annie, I'm sure I'd never have taken that first step without you and your inspiration. So thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for a golden year. &hearts &hearts &hearts &hearts
