Reasons to Be Happy and Just Keep Going

Because seriously? I need the reminder right now. I am not nearly in as dire straits as so many dear flisters right now, but it has still been a tough, tough two weeks, and I am kind of feeling like I've been put through a meat grinder. The reasons why are complicated and include, but are not at all limited to, the following: 1) allergies going ( Read more... )

~accepts gratefully and sympathizes~

Oh, it's been a lot more than a week. It's just been a little over a week since it got bad enough for me to have to sleep sitting up. I finally had to drag myself to the doctor today, because the sharp drop in temperature over the weekend had me gasping for breath. I have a stronger inhaler and a medrol pack, so we'll see how it goes. I'm already feeling some improvement; sometimes there's nothing more effective than steroids.

Since August 31, I've had a Medrol dose-pak and a Prednisone taper. Don't know what he'll try next. *sigh* Am tired of the coughing though. :(

*tight hugs* It sounds like life has been operating at a frenetic pace that hasn't let up... be sure to take care of yourself. It sounds like Mun & Mr. Mun coming to town will be a blessed chance to relax and kick back. :-) It's good to hear that there are good things happening even in the midst of the crazy... *more hugs*

~hugs~ That's it, in a nutshell. There's been no time for... much of anything, really. Certainly not anything that I enjoy! But Friday was a wonderful, wonderful exception, because I got to spend it with Mundungus and Mr. 42 and the 42 family, and they are all wonderful people. I really enjoyed the opportunity to enjoy a night out with friends and not fret that I should be doing something else more constructive. (I seriously need to kick this guilt habit.)

I heard you took your subject test, and I think you have the precisely the right attitude. ~big hugs~ I will have my fingers crossed for the best outcome for you, whatever that may be.

That sucks!
But: Wow on the weight loss, that's great. And M and Mr. M coming to town, you'll have so much fun!

Re: my lungs, I think the real problem is that they don't suck enough. ;-)

Thank you, though! I'm happy about the weight loss, but I was even happier to be able to see Mun and Mr. 42 and the 42 family. It was a fabulous time, and my only complaint is that no time would have been long enough!

They are, and today has been even better.

I will pass along your hug! Would you also like me to remind her that she is yours? *g*
