It's that time of year again, and the Stanley Cup finals are in full swing. To my delight, my beloved Red Wings are playing against Pittsburgh for the championship once again, and they're only two victories away from hoisting the Stanley Cup for the second year in a row. :D ( Read more... )

Lady_rhian told me about it, yes, and I think it sounds like a brilliant idea! Unfortunately, I still have a few RL things that aren't settled yet, so I can't be sure about whether I'll make it... but I certainly want to try, because I'd love to see all of you. :D

Aren't they fun? And yes, they're exactly the kind of thing you find irresistible when you have to finish a thesis or a project or proposal. Suddenly, you just can't get enough... plus, it's cathartic to whack those penguins.

Aghhh, I'm having a terrible time at Whack-a-Penguin as well! I'll be watching tonight, along with my father, who will probably be yelling at the top of his lungs. Go Wings, let's bring the Stanley Cup home!

And I apologize for my penguin icon. It's my default, but I really should change that, at least for the rest of the finals.

Awww, but I love your penguin icon! I don't associate it with the Penguins. As long as it isn't Sidney Crosby, I think it's cool. ;-)

I think Whack a Penguin is definitely the most difficult game, or at least is is for me. It's so hard to move quickly enough AND manage to whack the penguin!

The game made me sad, but at least they're at home for the next one. I'm still rooting for them! I'm crossing my fingers that Datsyuk will be ready to play, too, because they really need him now. Zetterberg is wearing himself out trying to pick up the slack.

I'm hoping the Pens will be cocky and overconfident Saturday...

I rooted for the Flyers, and was sorry to see them out of the playoffs so quickly. The Red Wings have always been my team, though, so I'll keep cheering for them!
