It's that time of year again, and the Stanley Cup finals are in full swing. To my delight, my beloved Red Wings are playing against Pittsburgh for the championship once again, and they're only two victories away from hoisting the Stanley Cup for the second year in a row. :D ( Read more... )

Alas. We are rooting for the other team, as a friend's nephew plays for them. So no penguin-bashing games for me. (Besides, I like Penguins and don't want to hurt them.)

Interesting that both teams are named for black birds, though!

Ooh, I see how it is. ;-) Nah, I can't blame you for rooting for the other team in this case, although I'm just not a fan of theirs generally. (Not so much to do with playing against them here.) But I do hope that your friend's nephew is having a good time, regardless!
