Dad is doing well, all things considered. We're still finding our bearings and working out routines, but things are definitely smoother now than they were Friday. Friday was very long and exhausting and unpleasant for all of us. In the last few days, Dad also went though an unfortunate time when he stopped taking the drugs because he thought he didn't need them. Turns out he very much does need them, and he really regretted letting them wear off completely.
I think I deserve a medal for not saying, "I told you so." ;-)
But I'm taking to his follow-up visit to the doctor tomorrow, and they'll check up on the graft, to see how it's taking. ~fingers crossed~
