Thank you! Dinner was fab, and it made the whole house smell good. :D (BTW, Bambu's gingerbread is delightful.)

The storm won't be here for another few hours, but now I'm prepared. I have firewood, food and blankets, so I think I'm ready.

Thank you! I'm delighted to know that it made such an impression on you. :-) You know, I remember your art from that round very fondly, too. A lot of pictures sort of faded from memory, but I vividly remember your Snape and Hermione underneath the stars.

Thank you! It came out very well, if I do say so myself. (As did Bambu's gingerbread cake, for that matter. I offered my brother some in exchange for shoveling my snow, and he hoovered it up!)

I love making beef stew, because it's a no-recipe zone for me. I just throw in what I like, and it's hard to go wrong with beef and potatoes and wine.
