My grandmother passed away this morning. My mother called me around 9. I guess the nursing home called mom and dad around 3am and said she was fading. So they went and my father got to be there when she let go. She has been battling with extreme dementia for the last 4 years after suffering from a series of strokes. It was time for her to move on

Hi! Just reading your entries now..Sorry you have to go through this...I know how horrible it is -- my grandmother died in '96. Good to hear that you'll be with your family through all of this though. x
