Just FYI, the ports were not sold to anyone. They are leased. ;) But yes, I wonder why the heck they've been leased to foreign companies---first the Brits, now the UAE. I just sort of assumed they were government run. (On the otherhand, private industry tends to do things better than the gov't---but again, why not an American company?) Very weird.
