and the healing continues...

So, I've been back to work for the past couple weeks and this coming week is going to be even crazier for me... I'll be working 2 FULL shifts. That's 9 hours on my feet. To make things worse I've come down with yet ANOTHER sinus cold. I suppose this is even more reason for me to take that test to see whether or not NPC is in my future. That ( Read more... )

*hugs you and clings* It's too early for anyone I know to go, and I really really hope it isn't NPC. Please take the test so you (and I, and everyone else) can stop worrying.

I really look forward to going there to see you! ♥ I'll be sending an e-mail with details of when/where exactly you can pick me up. What e-mail address do you use nowadays?

you can send email to bluesgal@livejournal.com and it'll get to my usual email, whichever I happen to be using. :D

I'll figure it out with the doctor... and I'm sure I don't have NPC but it's just something I'll always have to watch out for since it can develop later in life too.

:) Don't worry otherwise... and hey, looking forward to your visit too! How long are you staying? Dan will be living with me and I have to tell my parents to exact dates you'll be here so they don't overlap (they're supposed to come around that time too)...

So are you planning on taking the blood test for NPC? I woulnd't worry too much about it if the only symptoms that you're having is a sinus infection. In any case, the curative rate is very good these days. (Sorry for being such a dork.... it's an occupational-disease.)

House in Hawaii?? Ooh!! So I suppose it would be open to visitors eventually... right? Right??

took the blood test and I have an appointment with an ENT to get that scope up my nose. I'm not too worried since it's just a sinus infection (and colds)... I get them ALL the time included horrible sinus migraines that last for months... but that's not the real worry. The worry is that 2, possibly 3, people on my mother's side of the family have had (still have) this cancer. My uncle (and perhaps my grandfather, too bad it was so long ago we won't know) died from this cancer and my aunt is, thankfully, on the recovery but she continues to battle every day (especially since the chemo has left her with weak (almost none) salivary glands.

But yes... open to visitors, of course! I will even have my own "section" if things go my way... :D So you could stay in my "wing" of the house... hahaha...
