So I've been taking organic chemistry at PSU all summer. More precisely, I've been taking the equivalent of a year-long ochem course in three months. It's not going well, but that's another story.

The question I wish to settle today is "How's it stack up against Reed?" Oh, it stacks up real good. Here's the score thus far:
PSU Has: A whale

Reed doesn't need professors who need to lecture you like children, because they know that you are of the elite. Which you just might be.

I actually like the academics at PSU, I think most of the professors are good. What I don't like is the bureaucracy.

In fairness, the professor and TA from the first quarter were world-class awesome, and my lab does start at 5:30 PM, so perhaps the stockroom manager can be allowed his dinner. Maybe.
