The Perfect Dark

The amount of devastation was simply incredible.

Kakashi stood before the village gates. His mouth was dry, and eyes and body stiff from traveling two days straight without rest. A cold shock gripped his chest, making all other forms of thought impossible. He felt like a survivor from a shipwreck, freshly washed on to shore, and desperately ( Read more... )

OMG! *flails*

I love your description, it feels so natural and beautiful and... and....*flails more*

I think what captures The Tempest the most, is the acceptance that all things must come to an end as a new stage beings. I love the atmosphere.

Ah maw gawd. It is all about new beginnings, isn't it? By the end of reading the actual play I'm pretty sure my eyes were just a little bit watery...

Aww, this was sooo sweet! I like how it captured The Tempest's feeling of acceptance.

Your style of narrative in this is lovely and descriptive. I especially loved the section from Tsunade's point of view; it really FELT like an older person. Also, the little touch of Naruto's reaction was insightful.

One question I have is whether Sandaime was married in your story. We don't know if he is in canon, though we do know he has at least 2 kids, so I was curious how that fits in.

Anyway, it was very sweet and I enjoyed it a lot. Thanks for sharing.

Oooooh! I didn't even consider that, but thinking back now... Asuma is the son of the Third Hokage, and Tsunade is the grand-daughter of the Second Hokage. Therefore they DID have families. Hmm. *rubs chin*

Oh boy. I guess for the sake of this story we'll have to gloss things over and say they all dealt with secret rendezvous and hidden lovers. Those sneaky, sneaky ninjas. ;D

Oops, forgot to reply to this!

They had kids, but marriage is up in the air. They can be sneaky sneaky ninjas if you want. :)
