I called my dad today to check in with him, but made the mistake of calling during dialysis, so I'll try him again tomorrow. Oops

...that I was making the plans for the party and cleared them with my lovely wife. After plans were set, she suddenly looked at the calendar, thought a minute and said, "Wait. You do realize that's our anniversary?"

I do not normally forget these things. She does not normally remember. We had to switch places on this at some point....
