Brussels is a very different city from Paris. The location our hotel is in is the old city, although I can't remember the local name. It's a twisty little maze of streets all different, indoor shopping malls, and restaurants. Just saw the badly misnamed "Best of Both Worlds" (no, not a StarTrek episode) at the ART in Cambridge and OMG it was fantastic. It's an R&B musical version of Shakespeare's "The Winter's Tale", but done in a way that is just gorgeous to see. As the winter months wear us down, it takes the spring to remind us how lucky we are. I'm lucky to be living in one of most beautiful cities on the planet. Boston has so much fantastic history and culture that we pass by everyday without observing. I enjoy traveling so much, probably much more than I should, but I hope I'll always come home here.
