Thank you! I don't actually read a lot of fic so I can't say this for sure, but--it seems that Sam's faith doesn't happen to be the subject of many stories. Probably that's in part because the show hasn't given us so much to work with.

This really hit the spot. I have been wanting to see Sam stand up to the angels and make his feelings known. You did a great job doing that.

I know the show isn't going to have a full-on meltdown, but I really hope they'll somehow work with the strain that Sam's faith has to be undergoing right about now. It's not a subject I'm particularly qualified to deal with, so it's very good to hear that the story resonated.

I've not read any of your fic before...I'll be watching for more...
None of the rest of my fic is actually like this, really, except for one called 'Catharsis.' Clicking the 'author's favorite' tag will get you kind of a sampler of stories more typical of my work.

Fabulous story telling...An extremely thought provoking alternate ending...Loved the dialog, so intense, and in such strong voices I felt I could really hear them...
I really, really wanted this to be thought-provoking, so I love hearing that. And Castiel's voice was definitely a challenge, so thank you very much for the feedback.

At the risk of sounding pretentious--that's exactly how it felt to write. At points it was almost overwhelmingly unsettling and difficult to bring to a conclusion. Eventually I had to just post it and attain some distance.
