Looks like there's a lot going on now to keep me busy and I've been glad for it. I always imagined I'd be put to the test with a lot of things in being a cadet, but it seems like things exceed my expectations even beyond that and even without Kazena-sama still holding the reins. Though I definitely still wish he was even with that being the case.

You're welcome. You did mention that you wanted to try to get along with more people here, and I can assure you that the ones I will be introducing with you will be different from those you've met so far. And I mean that in a good way. Ah, and you'll get a chance to befriend a girl, possibly.

We could set up a meeting place if you'd like. Just tell me what you'll be wearing so that it'll be easier for me to spot you. Just act like your usual self. There's nothing wrong with how you usually are.

I do~! So thank you in advance for helping me meet whomever I'll end up speaking to! And hopefully after this ball, I'll come away from it with a few new friends as well because of it~! ...Ah, but...girl? I don't...know if I'm prepared for that at all. I know it's a ball, so I guess I should've automatically considered that there would be lots of very lovely and elegant ladies present as guests as well, but...I don't have the slightest idea about how to talk to pretty girls. And I just know if I try that I'm going to make myself look like a bumbling idiot to them and just embarrass myself! Thankfully, since we'll be wearing masks, no one would end up seeing me flush to the same shade as my mother's favorite red roses at least if that ended up being the case.A meeting place would be nice~! It would be much easier and save myself and I'm sure your other friends a good amount trouble if we know right where to find you instead of searching through everyone attending the ball. You probably will. Maybe the girls wearing masks will help as well, since you won't really see their faces. Can't say I know how to get rid of your...awkwardness. But I can definitely say that she's easier to handle compared to other girls.

And yes, the anonymity of the ball is probably the best part of it. It definitely is. Oh, but with or without the mask, my friends wouldn't judge you. Like myself, they care little for such things.

Even with the masks, I'd still be able to tell that they're girls and getting embarrassed because of it. ...Not that that means I'm staring anywhere I shouldn't be instead or anything improper like that! I-I mean, I'm a gentleman! I wouldn't ogle a lady's personal areas! .....Oh god, I'm just making this sound worse, aren't I? ...I think the idea of trying to rid my awkwardness may be a task that'll take a lot more time and effort than what can be done before the ball. So I guess I'll simply have to manage as best I can during then. I hope your lady friend will be able to put up with me despite it.
