Today at my internship I had to call vendors with items in the museum store to see if they wanted to advertise or donate an item at the upcoming fundraising gala. Scary. My first day at the museum was quite productive and I'm pleased with the job. As it turns out, I am interning solely under the Director of the museum. I thought I'd just be the office bitch and everyone would use me where needed, but my role is to learn how to raise money for a museum and I'm learning it from the head guy. It's my first day at the internship. I'm probably just going for an initial meeting in order to get acquainted with the staff and work out my schedule and school requirements. But it's my FIRST DAY!

I'm keeping the clothes simple and light today- khakis, white button-down shirt, brown shoes and belt, pretty blue necklace.
