The older I get the more important I realize fathers are to the development of children. Mine wasn't around at all after I was 5 and I am JUST NOW realizing the impact of that.
I give you GIANT KUDOS for being brave and voicing these hurts. Naming things is powerful and your sister is afraid of that power. Maybe hearing you, seeing you be so strong will eventually help her name her own wounds and gain power over them.
