I'm beginning to become accustomed to this new time; I rather like the computer, and the microwave is incredibly useful. I have been trying to find as much information as possible on the light in the sky, using the computer, however it seems very few facts are known. There is an abundance of speculation and hypochondria, though ( Read more... )

Somebody needs to show you a car or a bike.

Car or bike? What are they used for?

Ah; I've noticed no one seems to use horses or chariots or anything of the sort.

You're acclimating to our time much faster than Atemu-san is.

Maybe that has something to do with 'Atemu-san' being a witless oaf who seems to enjoy long and dangerous walks in the dark.

...I'd be inclined to agree with you if you weren't such a jerk.

Then you're petty, too?

I'd though stupidity and naivety were the extent of your failings, little girl.

No, it was not. I used to walk around the Palace all the time by myself, remember even though guards followed me at ten meters distance? Really now, I can take care of myself.

This isn't the palace, Pharaoh. Count the apartment as the palace; you can wander around it all you like, but anywhere outside of it is dangerous. They would have been closer if Simon, Mahaado, and I had our way. I have no doubt you can take care of yourself, but don't take unncessary risks.

[Ooc: Blah, wrong journal. XD]

But it is so smaa~all here, I am not used to such small quarters. Honestly, this does not even fit my bedroom in the Palace. It could not be completely dangerous outside of it, could it? Even though I really do not like those 'cars', they go way too fast. 10 meters is close enough. I can always count on the Gods to help me, Set.

[Ooc: *pets* 's okay XD]

You'll simply have to get used to it. And from what I have been hearing and reading, it can be. Are cars those large things on wheels that travel down the streets? They are very fast, if so, and rather loud as well. Whatever, Pharaoh. Yes, but it would be better to entirely avoid situations in which you might need their help.

I don't know if anyone's ever told you, but with that silly hat on, you look like a garden gnome.

...That being? And you are?

I think your hat matches far better.

The heater is more useful I believe. Otherwise we would all freeze here or just me

...have you learned your way around yet?

I just found out about the heater; it is rather useful. No, it wouldn't be just you.

Mostly. Shizuka gave me directions to where you are staying; I intend to visit sometime soon.

It keeps this awful weather out. It's just too cold. You're cold too?

*smiles* I would like that. Just be careful Set-sama, this place is dangerous.

Yes, especially at night. Yes.

*Nods* I will try to find a good opportunity to go there. Don't worry, Mana, I will be fine.
