This is a work related rant.  It's under a cut because I know people don't like to read rants all the time.  All I'm doing is ranting so if you don't want to read, pass by this post.

No, no, you don't seem to understand. Mercury Retrograde is when Mercury appears to be going backwards in astrology. Symptoms of Mercury retrograde are everything going incredibly wrong. It's infallible. I had 21 of 23 birthdays in mercury retrograde and they all sucked horribly with horribly broken plans and horrible stuff happening during them. Now I laugh because it's so typical mercury retrograde. Anything you plan to do probably will get cancelled. There's a lot more to it, but thats a huge part of it. It last 20 days.

Oh no I know about it but it doesn't matter if Mercury is in retrograde or not my co-workers are just arrogant self-involved assholes that pawn off shifts on others but won't take one shift for someone else.
