This was so fricken gorgeous! I seriously love Jared's personality in this! ;D And this is really weird, but I really like how there was no sex written. They were a beautiful couple and I know it's obvious they DID have it, but it just didn't feel like a porn story and I love it! A timestamp however...*snickers and goes to make her own Jared*
And I'm so glad you mentioned the porn thing because I gave that issue a lot of thinky thoughts. I did actually write part of a sex scene but in the end it just didn't seem to fit...the story is simpler and I guess a little sweeter without the porn and I preferred it that way...But timestamp porn is FTW!
In fact there's is several missing scenes that I might have to post at some point, like Jared's time away from Jensen and how he came back to Texas - I wrote a whole scene where Chad visits him at the bar in San Antonio only for it to end up being cut out.
Oh, I love this so much. Weird Science was my favorite movie when I was a kid. I swear I watched it at least once a week. I had the song memorized. So, I was very excited to see a J2 version of the movie. Its so perfect. I loved Jensen, Jared, Chad, and Jensen's family. I really liked it when Jensen finally stood up to Tom. It was about time.
I'm really glad it had a happy ending. I was worried when Jared left and Jensen moved away for college. I was so happy when the boys found each other again. They belong together.
I'm soooooo glad you liked the story especially since you love the movie. That's really awesome and such a relief because even though I changed a lot of the plotline, I still wanted to do the film justice. :)
