A/N: Sorry it's so short. I didn't really have much to say in this chapter and not a lot of time to write. In fact, some of this was written for an earlier chapter but was cut out... I think. I hope I'm not repeating anything I've already posted...

Nick tried to keep his blue eyes locked with Lance's green eyes and he tried not to look down at that pale bare chest. It was hard not to imagine Lance bent over Justin fucking Justin's brains out on the couch. At least Justin was out cold on the couch while Lance sat in the kitchen, dressed in a pair of blue boxers and sitting across the kitchen table from the fully clothed Nick. "So, what do you think I should do?"
"Dinner and a movie are pretty hard to screw up." Lance looked seriously into Nick's eyes.
"No, I mean about moving in with Kevin and making this marriage work." Nick rolled his blue eyes. He leaned back and looked up at the ceiling.
Lance smiled and patted Nick's hand. "I say go for it. You're only young once and you don't want to miss out on what could be the best thing to happen to you."
"But..." Nick looked back at Lance for support and wisdom.
"No buts. If I had listened to every 'but' I had or my family had about Justin, I wouldn't be here with you two and I wouldn't be happy. If it doesn't work out, then it wasn't meant to be. I can also tell you really want to be with him." Lance wanted Nick to be happy. He wanted Nick to stop pussyfooting around and just go for it.
"I do, so much..." Nick whispered.
"There's your answer. Now, go pack, you don't want to keep him waiting too long." Lance patted Nick's hand again and then released them and pointed to Nick's bedroom.
"Thanks, Lance. You're the best," Nick smiled. He trusted Lance. He really wanted to be with Kevin and make it work. He patted Lance's hand and got up to go pack a few things.

Howie groaned when AJ started to snore. The three of them, Howie, Brian and AJ, were on a small private plane on their way to make sure Kevin didn't to anything stupid. Well, anything else they thought was stupid. Getting married was one thing, they had all done it at one time or another, but not getting divorced when Kevin sobered up was unforgivably gullible... insane... romantic... of Kevin.
Kevin had been very secretive ever since he got hitched to that blonde. Having divorce papers drawn up but never sent, staying late in the office when no one else was around, and ending phone calls when Howie, AJ or Brian entered the room. Then suddenly he disappeared and wasn't returning their phone calls. That was always a bad sign.
Kevin needed to be saved... from himself. They needed to protect Kevin. They were his friends and knew what was best for him, in the long run. No matter how much he protested they were going to save him.
They knew where Kevin bought the house. It didn't take AJ long to contact one of his fuck buddies to find out that Kevin's husband was there too. Howie shouldn't have been surprised to find that AJ had an extensive network of fuck buddies that could find and provide anything AJ wanted or needed.
Of course, AJ's network comes in handy now and again. Whether it was finding new talent, shoot locations or the occasional runaway Kevin. Howie didn't want to know if AJ knew a cop or someone in a government position that knew where to find this Nick Carter... Or was it Nick Richardson now?
Howie almost fell asleep, until Brian snorted in his sleep. He really wished they had separate flights.

"So, how did it go?" Kevin asked once Nick buckled up.
"Great. Justin was passed out from getting fucked by Lance all night and Lance was... Lance. Oh, and I packed a bag or two to start." Nick looked back as if he could see through the trunk of the convertible and see the bags.
"We can always come back for the rest later," Kevin saw that look, he knew this was a big step, but he'd forgotten that Nick wasn't used to making them. He was proud that his husband was going to work on their marriage with him.
Nick smiled. "Why Mr. Richardson, you're so confident in your ability to properly woo me into staying married."
"Yes, I am." Kevin leaned over and kissed his husband. He slowly pulled away from the kiss and started the engine. "So, where to?"
"Home." Nick stated. Kevin knew he didn't mean the apartment. He meant their new home together. "I need to drop off my stuff and change. I have to work today and find out my schedule for the week. Then I can plan our date... When I find out what night we can actually go out on."
Kevin pulled onto the street and head home. He opened his mouth a few times to speak, but wasn't sure how to broach a volatile subject. He took a deep breath and just spit it out before he chickens out, "You could always quit your job and I can support you through school."
Nick didn't say anything. So many thought crossed his mind. "He did not just try to buy me, because he's trying to be supportive. He just doesn't know how to be supportive and not controlling. No, he just wants to have sex all day long... Yeah, I'll stick with that thought."
"I'm serious. It's not like I can't afford to," Kevin spoke slowly and calmly. "We'll have more time to work on your marriage this summer."
Nick didn't say anything. He needed more time to think about it. Either that or not think about it at all, at least for now.
