Yes. I am currently conducting research related to our discussion yesterday.

First-hand experience.

With responding to human interaction, or with making choices?

Am I to understand that the city isn't normally this calm?

No, unfortunately, most days there's either a curse or someone or other causing civil unrest.

How troubling it must be for you.

I would think it would be troubling for most everyone.

Calm... would it be far too cliched to bring a storm to mind?

It does seem like it would be an apt metaphor.

For its diminished population, this City enjoys blood overly so.

That's probably the result of the kind of people it likes to gather. There are some innocent civilians, but the majority of the citizens seem to be either criminals or crime-fighters.

There has been a recent influx of new arrivals as of late, so it's certainly possible that our killer is one such newcomer. And the delivery uniform...if discarded so quickly, it may have been some sort of disguise. Has any analysis been made on the garments yet? Are they stained with any sort of bodily fluid, such as blood?

A disguise was my thought as well. As for body fluid, my preliminary scan didn't reveal anything, but if the perpetrator is human there is likely to be some DNA material that could be obtained from the clothing. I don't have the ability to run further tests myself, though. Would you like me to bring the evidence to you, Constable?

Yes, please. I have the chemicals and means to properly analyze it and extract any further substances, bodily or otherwise.

I'll bring them right away, then.

How should the investigation proceed from here?

It's also possible that they are a long-term resident...discovering a new and more exciting way to commit murder.

bluebomberx October 10 2007, 03:05:54 UTC
That's true... but we have to have some way of narrowing down the search. Otherwise, half the city is a potential suspect.

Well then, I guess we'll just have to wait until they kill again. If they kill again.
