Why did I feel like crying when Judith Durham finished performing the last song on RocKwiz (Live) tonight - even though I'd just sung the whole thing with her (ohthankyou)? Didn't she what! And that standing ovation was practically pulsing, just bursting to be born. How ace that she was (still with us and) in such fine form, and revisiting the past--in a good way--while still enthralling in the here + now. She's a very giving perfomer. Agreed on the Countdown Spectacular--haha--and agreed on Ella Hooper too. I've always been mad for her, even when highly unfashionable (because she was young and in an "industry" band). I still love "Weir" and used to sing it to myself when gazing at the wonderful weir in Bath, UK. ;) Her voice just hits my ears right and I think she's got a great spirit. Who is Patience from the Greats? Long blonde hair, singing with the Augie March singer? I really liked her! The sweetest smile I've ever seen on an adult too. :) Stephen Cummings let me down a little because I love The Sports, but the song was great to hear live nonetheless. Stands the test of time well! Ross Wilson was much better than I would've expected. Bella Hunter was so adorable, and what a stunner! The hair flicking was annoying but it just showed how young and uncoached she was, and I liked her voice when she let it show. :) Paul Kelly - I've been listening to him for the past few days and no one else, so I loved seeing him, but I agree on the too happy!
