Sometimes I sing ditties to the animals with lyrics I make up as I go. It's like some mad rush poetry challenge 'cos once you start, the pace is on! Sometimes I make up the melodies, sometimes I don't. Today's was a little more sinister than most, and is set to My Favourite Things from The Sound of Music.

The other day at Flower Power, when it was too hot to leave Kenji in the car, I sat in the shade with him and sang Rave On by Buddy Holly for the whole time Todd was plant shopping.
