This is a UK TV announcement: Channel One has vanished. :(

Except, they didn't actually announce anything, and I only discovered this when I put the telly on today and there was nothing there but a black screen saying it's gone. Poof. Bye Bye. Google informs me it's because Sky bought it from Virgin Media, and decided to scrap it. *sigh* Maybe it ( Read more... )

It is indeed! I'm amazed how much difference there is between my old glasses and the new ones. Everything is so much clearer now, LOL.

JS! Hiiii! Nice to see you, too. :D And good to hear you're getting back into the fannish swing of things. RayK and Fraser are still being sketched by your talented hand, this pleases me! ;)

I'm at S2 of DS already - I never seem to be able to stop at watching just one episode at a time, I end up whizzing through seasons - so it won't be long before RayK & Fraser are filling my dreams again. This ALSO pleases me. *g*

As for the TV, I don't really understand it much myself. There is a replacement channel up and running already which appears to be showing nothing but old game shows, and wrestling. (WTF!?!) Not quite holding the same appeal as what was there before, that's for sure.

Oh, that's okay about the dvds (and action figures? How cool! :) I've got them on my to-buy list, I'll get around to them eventually. But thank you for the kind offer!
