<3 this episode XD

I really wanna know what Kilgarrah's birth meant now though.

MERLIN'S SO HAPPY! Overjoyed even! Happy tears should be the only ones.

Haha I guess I just like to think outside the box. I know it's been bothering me since he said that. I half expected Merlin to ask him what his hatching meant, but then, no.

Merlin's made a lot of sad faces so far. It's really a wonder no one's noticed. He's got some crap friends, I guess.

Yeah, that would be good to know actually. I wonder how old he is too. Maybe his birth was relating to Camelot too. Or maybe dragons were so common back then, it just meant they were out of milk. The mythical version of a post-it on the fridge.

I can take happy tears from Merlin, they were lovely. Last week everyone was crying, it was brilliant and perfect, but quite draining.

This season has been pretty much all about Merlin and Arthur so far. I think the writers have had some kind of knock to the head.

Yeah Poor Merlin, is alone. He has Gaius, but he doesn't really understand how he feels and he has Arthur, but he can't tell him how he feels. I don't think Merlin could get so upset as to not appreciate the adorable baby dragon. I think he needed a pick me up and Kilgarah saying how this dragon symbolised Merlin and Arthur's destiny, did that. It wasn't really mentioned in this episode what Merlin did in the last one, but I felt it was referenced subtley.

Merlin was Snow White when he lived in Ealdor. To that I'm sure. He was like a walking meat platter, with birds and rabbits and deer frolicking after him.

I like the idea that Aithusa has a red nemisis! Not sure the budget will allow for another different coloured dragon though. I think the baby dragon took all the budget that was supposed to be spent on Arthur's King crown. Is Aithusa a boy dragon or a girl dragon? I got the impression she was a girl.

Yes, please let the keep on developing the characters. Just a little bit at a time is fine. Just take it slow, baby dragon steps.

I miss Lancelot. I want him to come back and angst crap up with his noble self. I think it was good for Merlin when he had Lancelot to talk to. He liked that he didn't judge him for his magic. Although, I think he'll never fully feel like he's not alone until Arthur knows though.

Yeah Merlin and Kilgarah are definitely friends this season. Now Merlin's got two dragons on his side!

Merlin can pretty much fit in a number of disney princess roles. I don't think there is one Disney film you can't compare to the characters/storylines in Merlin.

People are saying that Kilgarah called Aithusa a 'he', so I guess he is a boy dragon after all. I really wanted a girl dragon, but I'm just happy he's healthy and has all his claws.

"Merlin and Arthur are so married in them! That little dinner scene reminds me so much of when my ex boyfriend used to bring his mates from the rugby team round." I have to laugh out loud. Truth here. A huge smile on my face.

I have to say although the knights playing jokes with Merlin. Sometimes, it feels kind of awkward, I mean the dynamics. It DOES show how good Bradley and Colin are together. Everything between Arthur and Merlin can be pulled off by their performance without feeling strange/weird. That's why their chemistry is like GOLD and definitely the best assets of this show. The industry seldom gets something like that.

It is amusing me how nonchalant Arthur is when it comes to Merlin when they are out questing with the Knights. He's so overly trying not to show any sort of emotion towards him, but then ends up dragging him around out of harms way. It's very sweet ( ... )

I can't agree with you MORE. I definitely adore the chemistry between B/C. They can act emotional scenes like gold. They can also pull off those scenes, while if for others would be totally out of tune and very weird and even sort of cheesy, but with B/C, it just sends a huge grin to everyone's face. That's how GREAT and FABULOUS Bradley and Colin pair work. The show is SO LUCKY to have the two. And we, as the fans, are so lucky to have them.

We're very lucky. I don't think it's a coincidence that the show has given them a lot of tough scenes this year. I especially loved last week and the quick changes in tone. They have made the characters very nuanced.

They were totally looking at at Gaius' crotch at that point and paused! I'm glad it wasn't only me. They have no innocent gestures on this show. I know their game. I'm on to them ( ... )

Yeah, I'm interested to see a bit more of Agravaine now. He's been lurking around in the shadows, I'd like to see a bit more of his motives. Also, Merlin and Gaius are on to him, so that should be interesting.

I think Morgana won't know about Merlin in episode 6. If Morgana knows the first thing she will do is let Arthur know somehow. I think she's just using Merlin because of how close he is to Arthur and he's been a bit of a pain in the arse to her.

It's interesting how Morgana hasn't sensed of worked out Merlin has magic yet. I think it goes to show an innocent face can work wonders. Not many people figure out Merlin has magic unless he tells them. I think it's because of the position he is in as a servant. There is a certain arrogance of everyone else in not really understanding he would do that by choice, not circumstance.
