there is a wall in my house - in the landing between the first and second floors - where we have hung photographs of our ancestors in chronological order, dating back to the early 1900's.
many people visiting our home comment on how beautiful this family piece is, and wish they had thought of the same.

I tore my right hamstring playing baseball, and there's a lot of internal bleeding and bruising. I might be done for the season. This summer has been memorable for all the wrong reasons.
