Ms. Bristow turned to him as Mr. Vaughn crossed to the fallen right wardrobe, tugged out its bar, and helped Dr. Charles out.  “So.  Leslie.  You have five minutes to convince us not to use one of these on you.  Start talking.”

In the end, they decided to leave him there.  Leslie, or Santa, or X’Fibrililoo was banished from roaming and ( Read more... )

I like the plottiness of this, and you make good use of your OC (exactly the sort of OC that this fandom needs)-- but something has gone terribly wrong with your LJ cut-- you may have to type in the code yourself: [lj-cut] (but change the square brackets for pointy arrow ones).

"Alias" is one of my favorite shows of all time, and features my eternally beloved Spy Daddy. I had to retire his name out of a sense of respect. ;)
Nick and Nora Charles I chose because I figured Ianto made up the covers for Suzie and Owen, and Ianto is a classic movie fan, totally. He and Jack have classic movie marathons, when they're not saving the world, of course.

Loved Alias too but where are Nick and Nora Charles from as I'm not a classic movie fan like Ianto?

They're from "The Thin Man" and its sequels. They're a husband and wife detective team. And they drink a lot!

I liked this a lot. I always like it when the Whoniverse showcases harrassed and slightly bourgeois aliens who actually find themselves liking Earth (Mr. Copper in Voyage of the Damned, for example) and Leslie is a nice addition to that roster.

And, as the previous poster noted, the aliases were hilarious. Tosh is *way* smarter than Sydney, though. I did write a fic once where Ms. Sato teamed up with Marshall (the APO's resident technomage), so that they could bond over being the small, unobtrusive, fabulously intelligent one whose gadgets save everybody else's necks...

What a cute Tosh icon!
i miss Marshall. I used to watch "Alias" in real-time. :) Not a lot of shows I do that for!

Thanks! I like "the team has a good time while they are at least moderately competent and sometimes brilliant" fics. Plus, they're fun to write.

This is episodical. This is canon for me. This could so totally have happened. And the cameo by Rhys made me smile. The banter was fantastic. Great stuff!

Yeah, Gwen popped up in the other and Rhys could not be denied. And it was something sweet that he'd do. Ah, Rhys! He is made of win, even when he's only there for 30 seconds.
