I got a new camera for my birthday!!! It is awasome, andfa not just b/c i'm fdrunkisssss. Um. Try that again. It is awesome, and not just b/c I've been imbibing. Pimm's is gin?! Huh, I didn't think I liked gin. I guess I do!!

It IS hot here! Are you metro-ing around DC? If you are on the Red Line during rush hour, I might run into you! Though I recommend you avoid it at rush hour as it can get wicked crowded and everyone who lives here is all grumbly b/c the tourists are taking up the space and talking really loud and blocking the doors. Although just last week I met a tourist from Hawaii on the metro and she was absolutely delightful. I bet you and your kids would be delightful, too. Enjoy DC, there's lots of cool things here, and don't mind the natives!

Piper especially has a furry butt and she was cuddled next to me on my bed yesterday afternoon, and I was petting her, and by the time she left, I had a second dog w/ all the fur that came off in my fingers!

Well I took the pics while sober in the afternoon, but I didn't post them until the evening w/ the vodka. Although, I got this panoramic function on my camera, and I was trying to take a wide shot, and the camera kept telling me I wasn't holding it steady enough! And I was sitting down, being very careful and completely sober! Maybe I should try it while drunk.
